We seek a dynamic Marketing Director to lead our Go-To-Market (GTM) team in the United States. This leadership role will require a strategic thinker with extensive B2B/enterprise marketing experience in fintech and BaaS. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the challenges faced by compliance officers in a conservative industry and will leverage thought leadership and partnerships to influence this key demographic.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that align with the company’s business objectives and drive market penetration in the U.S
- Lead and expand the marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity and high performance
- Spearheaded thought leadership initiatives, including content creation, speaking engagements, and partnership development
- Design and execute targeted marketing campaigns to engage and influence compliance officers and key decision-makers within the financial industry
- Collaborate with the CEO, founders, and other senior leaders to refine messaging and position the company as a leader in financial compliance solutions
- Monitor and analyze market trends and competitor activities to adjust strategies accordingly
- Manage budgets and allocate resources efficiently to maximize ROI
- Ensure all marketing operations scale with the company’s rapid growth, offering exciting opportunities for professional development and adapting to changes in the market and industry
- Serve as the organization's representative to external entities such as media, stakeholders, and prospective clients while forging strategic partnerships.
- Collaboration with sales teams and lead generation responsibilities
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree preferred
- Deep understanding of performance metrics and KPIs to evaluate campaign effectiveness
- Minimum of 8 years experience in marketing leadership roles, specifically within the fintech, BaaS, or banking sectors
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful GTM strategies in the B2B/enterprise space.
- Experience in compliance, risk management, banking, or related fields is highly advantageous
- Strong leadership skills and experience building and leading high-performing teams
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior executives and stakeholders
- Proficient in CRM and marketing automation tools; HubSpot experience is a plus
- Analytical and creative thinking
- Up to Speed with current marketing techniques and best practices, including leveraging AI tools to optimize productivity
- Ownership and building and executing Product marketing strategy
